What’s new?

Dear Readers,

I want to invite you to my new blog. I’m still trying to figure out exactly what to do with it, visually speaking, but the subject matter will be a bit different.

In my work and my scholastic pursuits I became interested in symbols, divination, and our unconscious, both collective as Jung would say and our own singular unconscious in our dreaming and waking hours.

Awakening, away from home Part 1

A note to my readers, This is what I’m calling serial Haiku. Recently, I strayed from the comforts of home for a work related conference. Homebody by nature, I don’t stay in hotels often. The view from my room offered me a lovely experience which I’m sharing with you through a week long series of Haiku. Thanks for reading.

 

Opening  curtains

Hotel room on the eighth floor

Can’t sleep, far from home

Skilled with your needle

eternal seamstress help us

repair our torn lives

Version 2

Skilled with your needle

O great seamstress teach us to

mend our tattered lives

Version 3

Merciful seamstress

your invisible needle

binds us together

one anothering us all
